How We Select Lodges
We prioritise properties with a genuine sense of place, direct conservation or community involvement where verifiable, and a standard of guiding and hospitality consistent with the rest of a bespoke itinerary. We do not recommend accommodation we haven't visited or couldn't verify, and we do not accept payment for placement in this directory.

The right property depends on the season and phase of migration you're targeting (for Serengeti camps in particular), the level of privacy and activity range you want, and whether you're prioritising a permanent lodge or a seasonal mobile camp positioned closer to wildlife movement.
